way of the python...
Basic standard:
Don't pay for anything. If you have to, use EBT. Then and only then if your out of EBT, use cash.
We left New Vrindaban with very little to no cash. Any little cash we had we spent on shipping our bicycles from chicago to Seattle. Somehow we had to get them back. Actually we didnt even have return tickets just one way tickets. We read that one of the six symptoms of surrender is accepting Krsna as your maintainer. This philosophy is surrender, not whimsical action! We were like slithering pythons accepting whatever would enter our mouths and sleeping in whatever little hole we could find. As long as it was vegetarian and offerable to the Lord we ate it. We slept sometimes on roof tops, sometimes on beaches, sometimes in peoples yards, sometimes in hotels, sometimes in small houses, sometimes in mansions, sometimes on the sides of roads, sometimes with tents, sometimes under the stars, sometimes in temples, and sometimes we didn't sleep. Wherever we ended up at night, we would enter our sleeping bags, close our eyes and wake up 8 hours later or sometimes 2 hours, four hours, six hours, or ten hours later depending on the interesting and unique circumstances. . .
