I talked alot with ashley, she is engaged to be married and has to make alot of decisions about the next stage of her life. She was happy to hear about Krsna consciousness. She understands that at some point when she wants to have children religion must be there and she is searching for something that makes sense and is practical. After dinner we all sat in the living room, turned the lights down, lit some candles, burned insence and performed kirtan. Everyone meditatively chanted and appreciated the most needed positive energy in the household. Ashley tucked us each into our beds and wished us a good night sleep. It's amazing how Krsna can place you in someones life randomly at times or others in yours. Each place we went we had such experience. "Strangers" just welcoming us into their home and recieving KC in exchange. That was all we had to offer. Kirtan, philosophy and prasadam.
