v.i.p entry...

kitchen session

confucious say this cant cut corn cob.

dinner with the family

We returned to the house and continued our friendship with Ashley. She said that she was now happy to have us at her home. She has been a bit bored not having any friends around and cant always tolerate just being with her mom. ashley being an athlete stays away from drugs and alcohol so she was happy to hear that we too do not take drugs or have illicet sex and are vegetarian. Chaitanya volunteered me to cook dinner. So she took us to a closer fruit stand that her mom owns and picked lots of fruit and veggies for tonights dinner and tomorrows breakfast. What a change from rotten fruit to now the best of the best. We stopped at a local store bought other groceries and returned home. We cooked pasta, baked eggplant, bell pepper, tomatoes, zucchini, organic salad, goddess dressing, hot tea. Soon her mother came home with her boyfriend. It was interesting seeing older people date eachother. i havent seen men and women relate like this in a few years while being at the temple and ISKCON atmosphere. Its not so much different then when you are young, I think everyone reverts back to their youth in regards to finding love. One thing is when you are older it is much more based around service. I think this man won her heart by volunteering his time to assist her with her horses and her vegetable stand. i dont even know if she liked him maybe she was just obliged by his friendship. So they stayed for dinner and we joked alot. The mother drank a little wine and started telling these "confuscious says what? jokes.." We also made fun of her getting completely scammed for these hundred dollar knife sets. They couldnt even cut through a corn cob! take them back never be fooled! buy only from restaurant supply stores! cooks know best!
