We made it to cleveland. 7.5 gallons of grease approximately 180 miles. all free travel. Tonight was a nice program at Prabhupada manor. About thirty devotees came and tooke part in a complete temple morning program- in the evening. His Grace Doyal Nitai Prabhu and Mother Tanya have created a wonderful atmosphere of Prabhupada appreciation and a center for Vaisnava community gatherings. They welcomed us into their home(im using there computer now), fed us, let us shower, shared kind words, engaged in wild kirtans, and gave a nice donation to be used for our travels. They truly set a great example and are wonderful friends. The two of them and their son Jayananda are always eager to have visitors and engage in Krishna Katha. They really love Prabhupada. Tomorrow is Ekadasi. We will begin the auspicious worship of our travelling dieties tomorrow. Sri Krsna Prema Prada Sri Gaura Hari(Gaura Nitai), Sri Sri Nitai Jahnava.(Laxsmi Narayan), and Tulasi Devi. We will travel to Ann Arbor to see more friends then off to Big Rapids MI. Pray for us.

How are you going to refuel? Only make round trips from New Vrindavan that use less than one tankful? Carry extra biodiesel? Use regular diesel? Are there biodiesel stations around?

the car is an svo. we just pour straight oil into the car and it runs great. it is set up to heat up the oil and that is all it needs. there are many ways to do it, but basically any diesel will run off straight oil with little problems. The oil filter has to be changed more often then usual.
