port townsend

This city was a nice little oasis. We basically judge a city by its weather and its co-op. the co-op here was excellent. There were so many people just hanging outside listening to music. we got free fruit from the hands of the owner. I met so many kind individuals and had great conversations with long bearded tai-chi masters. The landscaper had a third eye and planted only edible plants all around the store. Something i would like to implement at NV or elsewhere.

Woofer's Unite!-this young lady was getting kicked off a local farm with rest of the young woofers. What to do in life now? This seemed like a regular theme in the lives of most of the young people we met-incuding ourselves...

Seeing and hearing these souls play music was the perfect end to a days hard ride. They are true gypsie travellers who ride on bikes(not so good ones)and stop and play music wherever someone lends an ear. They were extremely talented and kind in nature. catch them at Mutantfest. They had the most unique instruments and could jam like nobody else. I almost became a gypsie upon meeting them.

Even though we are both highly unqualified, we both became ayurvedic doctors for this gentleman named Max. He's one of Becka's roommates. He had a severe skin problem which we both had seen before and gave him some advice about what to do-beginning with being vegetarian. He felt like we were sent from God. He's a professional pianist.

These are our friends Alex and Mana. They invited us to stay at their house with the gypsies but we declined so we could stay a block aways from the coop at Becka's. They told us about the greatest festival around for gypsies and pirates called "Mutantfest"(check it out online). She's writing her phone number on Mana's arm so we could take a picture of it. we didn't want to waste paper so we did it this way.

This is Becka. She was born and raised in this town. She invited us to stay at her house for the evening. She is the quietest person you could ever meet and a wonderful photographer. We met her at the Co-op while relaxing to some gypsie music.
